Some Important Notes
Hey Ship,
I just want to clarify some points about finances.
Since we are a team, we've decided to split the tournament fees across all 24 teammates for every tournament, rather than just those that attend. This is because it's a fixed cost and it's unfair for 10 individuals to split $300 because people decided not to come. To put it in perspective, the combined individual tournament fees for the fall is $37.50. This is the most fair way to do it.
All other expenses, since they're variable and dependent on the number of people that go, are split just based on the number of people that attend the tournament.
If for a tournament you canceled a day or two before and I was unable to cancel hotels or vans, you are included in it even if you did not attend. Again, this is the most fair.
Clothing orders are subtracted from the initial $200 outlay. Though almost everyone will owe more money.
I will keep an ongoing tab of everyone. When people owe or are owed excessive amounts, I will collect or pay out, respectively. This is the easiest way. But so that people aren't suprised, I'll post updates of amounts owed (either to me or from me) after each tournament.
After a tournament, we'll also have a topic where people can post how much they're owed from it.
I think that's everything. Let me know if you have any more questions.
