Fundraising Ideas
With 24 people on the team, connections to a huge network of friends and resources, and some dashing good looks and brains, there's no reason we can't do some wicked fundraising and soften the burden on our wallets.
Throw out any ideas you may have, big or small, smart or dumb; anything to get the creative juices flowing.
Think about who you know, community resources, talents you have, what people want...

Re: Fundraising Ideas
have you thought about talking to adidas and pitching how we would be representing thier brand at a major tournament for a huge emerging sport in north america? I don't see too many (if any at all) adidas jerseys at tournaments and this might be an oppourtunity for them to get some face time with alot of athletes. long shot i know but it might work out for some kind of goodness coming our way.

Fundraising
I have mentioned it in passing but not really. It's a great idea though that we should pursue more.
I'm actually talking to adidas tomorrow morning so I'll pitch it to them then.

Fundraising??
When i played rugby at McGill, we had white jerseys that we filled sponsors. We made a tour book and made tons of money claiming how we were touring the world (specifically bahamas and trinidad). What are Queen's rules, and Adidas for that matter, for adding sponsors to our team jerseys. A tour book is something we could make a couple thousand of, and distribute to all places and people we know. This will give all sorts of businesses a way to get exposure to people from ALL around, OR just locally, whichever pitch may work.
Prices to get a logo on jersey, or price for a quarter/half/or whole page advertisement can be decided on as I can't remember how much we charged. In the book is individual player pictures and hilarious bios. still treasure my two from McGill.
Easy to make tour books for a rugby team. May be harder for and Ultimate team. just an idea.
See you tonight at white trash.

Funds.
I think it was established last night over several cups of Pabst that a number of key guys won't be going to Vegas unless we get the fundraising train rolling. Speaking for myself, I'm prepared to be shameless and bake, wash cars, do whatever... I just want to see the Ship in vegas.

Just shooting some ideas off the top of my head... keggers(easy, fun, profitable), bottle drive, do we still have frisbees to sell?, bake sale, silent auction, we can do a fundraiser party at alfies, 50/50 tickets at sporting events
